God forbid we get awarded one at the PBS, with a big question mark about Zemmama's fitness, and Deeks having missed a couple, who'd be our designated penalty taker?

Benji took the last pen (and scored) so does that mean he's a shoo-in for the next one?

There seems to be a minor gamble on Mikey Stewart as 1st scorer on Saturday, probably down to the fact that he takes their penalties.

Anyone else for us?

I think the penalty taker should be someone who will play 90 minutes every time and has the experience to take one is pressurised situations.

Liam Miller for me.

3/1 with Boyles that a penalty (to either side) is awarded.

Doesn't matter if it's scored :cool2:

Benji or Nish would be the best option IMO.

Benji or Stokes for me, but it should be whoever is confident at the time. Riordan has missed his last couple so he'll have to wait his turn.

does anyone really think if riordan wins a penalty hes going to hand the ball over to anyone else?:bitchy:

Graham Stack.

Get the goalie to put a boot through it and burst the net. If the keeper gets anywhere near it it takes his head off.

Easy:greengrin

Both were pretty keech penalties though. Not much power in them, fairly easy for the keeper.

If Benji's on the pitch he takes it. Scored the last one.

But hopefully by then we'll be four up so Yogi can come on and belt it in.

How about....

The goalie saves it.... Stack goes up and hooks the boy, then puts it into an empty net with the goalie "rooted" to his spot. :cool2:

I've always worked to the principal that if you scored the last one you get to take the next one? So Benji.

The above rule can be ignored in favour of "makes it takes it", in certain circumstances.

If we are awarded a penalty at Tynecastle, there is absolutely no question as to who will take it.

Derek Riordan will take it and good luck to anyone who tries to stop him from doing so.
