I have to say, at 1st I liked it.
But now I love it! :top marks
(I don't have the top yet, but most likely will need to buy it soon)

The team looked so damn smart in it on Sat and put on a show to match.
We also wore it v Well, and surprisingly at home to D. UTD.
All v. good performances.

Anyway, was wondering if we'll wear it in the derby match??

Can't really recall seeing Hibs v Hearts without Hibs in Green.
Would like to see us wear it against them.

I love the white top too.

Probably because it's simple and classy (Hibs classy) and smart, none of this black/fluorescent yellow/lilac/dark green nonsense.

I believe David Begg, ahead of his commentary on the radio, described Hibs as wearing 'scruffy white tops' and went on to say he had no idea why Hibs just didn't wear their normal green and white.

Anyone recall watching the Falkirk match on TV?

It was virtually impossible to tell the difference between the two tops from certain shots especially with the sun in the background.

Rangers tops would present a similar problem.

It was a good move to use the white strip at Ibrox.

On the lovely big Plazma I was watching, we looked superb. :greengrin

On a rainy Scottish afternoon it's a masterstroke to wear an all-white strip.

It really stands out and makes it far easier to spot a home player with a pass. The blue team were running up the wing against a sea of blue - much harder to spot.

When we play in green our players merge into the turf

White has it's advantages!!

I was at the game Jgl07 and it was pretty difficult even then :agree:

The away strip this season is class, and a step up from previous season's. Although i do still like my 06/07 dark green top.

Was it 05/06 when we had the white Whyte & Mackay strip? That wasn't too shabby either but isn't as clean and simple as this season's, not too mention that the old Whyte & Mackay logo was an eyesore and stuck out like a sore thumb.

I wasnt happy that they didnt wear green on Saturday to be honest! We should always wear the green there and against the Hearts! just my personal opinion

white strip is very smart and looks better on the tele. i remember a few years back when sauzee & co started wearing the away kit socks (white) with the home strip, very smart.

i think that unless there is a clash the white strip should be used for every away match, its far too classy to only get a run out 2 or 3 times a season

I like the white, but to me it doesn't hold a candle to the green with white sleeves.

That's a Hibs shirt.

I'm pretty sure it was stuffy my laddie thought he had said scruffy too and had to explain to a 10 yo what I thought it meant.

I took it to mean plain, lacking flair like a crisp white tablecloth in an up market restaraunt, almost posh. :blah:

/someone goes to check on iplayer lol.

I say keep wearing the white untill we lose.

If the players are being superstious about it and they like playing in it, and more importnatly like winning in it, then carry on.

I would go the whole season winning and drawing, it it got us into Europe and won us the Scottish Cup.

Would not matter a jot.
