Brian, I couldn't believe it when Mum told me on Sunday..

Totally shocked and gutted, he was Uncle "John Lennon" Jim to me!

Hope you and Auntie Janis are as well as can be and pass mine and Lesleys regards onto Betty, Daniel and the rest of the family please!

RIP Jimmy - A true gent and a massive Hibby

Thanks.

I travelled with the picnic branch throughout the 70's and 80's too, so I will definitely have known your friend Jim, but I can't place him at the moment.

I'm sorry to hear about this. You may know that a close friend of mine also died at the beginning of the month. He was only 51 too.

Eric, Wattie and now Jim. Who says things don't come in threes?

Very sad indeed.

RIP Jim.

I travelled on hawkhill bus at the same time as jim and arnie along with many of the other posters on this thread. i remember them well and had many a laugh with them.
i also went over to belgium with arnie and karen to watch hibs and anderlecht and kept company with them many an evening after.

couldnt believe the amount of people that turned up at arnies funeral from all over britain. both the twins are now gone and their families must be distraught. my best wishes goes out to all of them.

its a really sad time for the hibernian family at the moment.

My Mum worked in Scotprint for many years, from before they moved to Musselburgh. I'm sure she knew him, and I will pass on the news.
