"He is our number one target," Melville told BBC Scotland. "They need the money and we can pay better wages than them."

Dundee can pay better wages than utd..crikey theyve turned things around for being a club in administration not to long ago.

Utd must pay gash wages.

But apparently they have a goalie who is a young man of infinite resource and sagacity....

First - "Russell, on loan from Dundee United, latched onto a ball over the home defence, killed it neatly and fired a smart low shot to Bullock's near post. But with reflexes like a ferret in a sack the Dundee keeper pushed the ball clear....."

Then - "Dundee keeper Bullock displayed his goalkeeping capabilities when he leapt like a startled hare in 79 minutes to stop a thunderous Mark Ferry drive....."

And then (is there no end to this man's versatility?) - "But he surpassed himself in stoppage-time, shortly after McMenamin had seen his header cleared off the Rovers line, when he leapt like a Romanian gymnast high to his right to claw away Walker's header....."

What is Jim Spence on? :cool2:

Would point out that Calum Melville is richer than Tom Farmer if last months 4 4 2 is right.

He is apparently serious about taking Dundee up & keeping them up.

Would hate Dundee to comes back up again.

They've always been a dodgy side to play against.

How do you make a small fortune?

Buy a football club with your BIG fortune, and watch it shrink..... :cool2:

So they'll be the next lot to go bust. Shame, their proximity to Utd. made for a good pub quiz question.

In better news, I reckon by the time they're going down the tubes, Stokes will be on other clubs radars, and we can pick up Griffiths to replace him.

Couldn't have planned it better.

Add Dundee to the list of clubs with greater spending power than Rangers, then.
