Given a good result away to the current buns and our league position, not to mention the chance to put even more distance between us & the yams what do folk think the crowd will be v Aberdeen.

I thought we would get 12,500 for the Killie game and because we didnt I will go for 13,500 this time.

Usually would go for 14,500 but some folk still seem not to have taken to Yogi's revolution.

I'm going for an optimistic 15,000

I think the players deserve for there to be a full house next week. I think there certainly should be about 14,500.

I'd certainly hope to see a decent crowd vs the Sheep - probably down to the recession etc but the crowds have been single fish so far this season - but the 1-1 draw at Ipox is the latest segment of a great bit of form and the players have more than earned some decent backing - and I think they'll get it - my prediction: 14,000.

end of the month and pay day should see a few more turn up than usual

To be fair to the Sheep - they usually bring a pretty good away crowd with them so that will help too. I'd guess 14,000 - 14,500

plus the chance to go 9 points clear of a team that will prob be there or there abouts for a euro spot, what more are people looking for.

Would be great to hear the fans really get behind the team, in numbers, and from the start.

Help make Easter Road a fortress!

I'm up for the weekend and I'll be dragging my old man along so whatever prediction you've come out with, can you please add another two to it :greengrin

My first Hibs game for around two years so I'm uber-excited about it :cool2:

My first game of the season (in my defence I'm 3.5 hours from E.R. and not exactly flush at the moment) - but after watching Stokes' goal on Youtube I just had to be there in case of a repeat. Dragging along a neutral too so that's +2 on the gate - can't wait.

I'll go for 13,450, expect to see gates improve if we win our next two games, looking forward to Saturday.

The Sheep normally bring down a decent crowd, so I'd hope we could get a good turnout. I'll go for 14,307.

Really looking forward to this game, already got the BBC Alba coverage stored into my SKY+. :greengrin

There will be around 14,500 present but it will be reported as 11,871 officially except by the BBC who will report 9,763.

Aberdeen had a miserable 11,766 for a New Firm derby.

So your crowd prediction, given you get paid enough, is 1?

Their will be 14k+ going I think.

Think Hibs are giving Aberdeen increased allocation and possibly whole of South Stand and it is definitely cash gate for Aberdeen fans so think might be good atmosphere and crowd on Saturday. 14,656?

One reason I stopped my ST this year was that Aberdeen games became less appealing since Hibs cut Aberdeen's allocation in 2006 and made it all ticket for away fans. I was not going to go because of this, but if this is confirmed will go along this week after all. So (subject to confirmation) well done to Hibs Board for a change!

It's pay at the gate for Sheep as they are pesh and there support like everyone elses has dropped... Nothing else.

They've been lucky to take 1300-1500 to ER the last few times, which on the face of it is good but when you consider the norm for them used to be 2500-3000.

There'll be no more than 1500 Sheep there on Saturday. Our crowd, anything under 14500 will be disappointing.

My thoughts exactly. I wouldn't be surprised to see a really decent crowd - not far off a full house - and then see the official attendance as about 12,000.

Why is this?

Not sure that the away support should come into it, but there should be at least 14,000 home fans for the Aberdeen given that we are only an ersekick from the top of the league. ER has not exactly been bursting at the seems so far so hopefully this will be a lot of fans' first game back since the dark days of last season.
