I see he has just become Goal Keeping Coach at St Johnstone.... will be interesting to watch the performnace of their keepers over the next few months...

Why would they need Marshall when an experienced keeper like Main is there? Strange...

Can't imagine Marshall coaching Main. Should be the other way around.

Based on what? Clubs played for? Number of Scotland caps?

Given the age of Alan Main this seems to be an odd appointment. Unless Main has told his boss that he does not want to become a goalkeeping coach and just wants to play.

delighted the big man has got fixed up he left with a bitter taste in his mouth.

but hay ho makka's a better keeper since marsh has left. not:duck:

IMO Main is the better of the two keepers, I would have main as a player/coach instead of Marshall

Alan Main put me and the other keepers through our paces for Perth & Kinross Regional Development Squad once.

I thought he was good but (1) that was hardly elite level and (2) he said the others should try to be more like me in collecting crosses so I'm biased :wink:

Should also add this was about eight years ago...
