Great result, nice football and 10 x better than last seasons tripe. Only gripe today was all the flair players we have - Zouma, Deeks, Stokes, Benji - want to score goal of the season every time they're on the ball.

I'd have said exactly the opposite was the case today, none of them really looked like they wanted to take the shot on (other than Zouma, who went close a few times). It just seemed like there was one pass too many nearly every time and that the shot would have been the better option the majority of the time.

On another day we would've scored 4 maybe 5 goals easy..

We bossed that entire game and Killie just couldn't get out their own half for the 1st 20 odd mins in the 2nd half..

Things are defo looking good for us..

Long may it continue!!

:agree: Looks like they don't want to score a scrappy goal but the perfect goal every time. Each one at some time over played when the pass was on or chose the world cup pass rather than the easyone. But they are a joy to watch even when playing against a team intent on stopping us play.

Far too much passing around the edge of the box and not enough urgency which will need to be quickly addressed.

It was one of those games where we needed a break.... and we got one.

But overall... we look fantastic.

We just need our strikers to come out of their shell a little more and show a bit more hunger and desire to take defenders on.

Mmmmm, we said that after the United game too.

I thought we were a trifle unlucky today but largely had ourselves to blame for not using our second half dominance to better effect. Up to 60 minutes, IIRC, neither goalkeeper had had a save to make. I was glad we were able to turn the heat up a bit for the last half hour, though.
