WTF that is bizarre indeed.

Was never much a fan of any band even remotely similar to Boyzone but for any decent person to die at that age is a shame. RIP.

The Daily Mail has been accused of homophobia, over an article penned by columnist Jan Moir, concerning the death of Stephen Gately. There have been 1000 complaints to the press complaints commission, and Marks and Spencer have asked for their advertising banner to be removed, from the page.

Some of the articles in some papers and the headlines in red-tops have been nothing more than disgusting.

He's not even cold and he's been disrespected.. and a lot of it is simply taking advantage of his sexuality.

Nothing more than animals.

She doesn't need to be. She knows the truth. She writes for the Mail.

I didn't read it as discrimination to be honest.

Most people that die from pulmonary oedema are 28000 feet up Everest or 70 years old with COPD, more a comment on the atypical nature of death for a healthy young man.

People will of course try and differentiate between cause of death (pulmonary oedema) and 'reason' for death (?drugs/drink/aspiration) which, i have to be honest, i have also done.

Fact is the boy is dead and should be left in peace.

Aye, but he didn't die because he was gay which is the implication of the entire article. She is a vile reporter, working for a vile man which produces a vile newspaper.

The chairman of one of the committees of the PCC is Paul Dacre. I'm sure the PCC won't come down in him too hard then.

Private Eye won't be stuck for material for the next issue.
