It was a brilliant attendance at Easter Road today! 13k is a joke, no way was it that, show me the other 4,500 empty seats!!!! Definatly 14,000+

I was seated up the top right of the west stand but from where I was the Famous Five looked 95% full as did the East Terracing.

The west and east looked packed from where i was in the Famous Five, no empty seats at the sides like there usually is. My mate also said that our Famous Five looked pretty full, and there was also a good amount of Hibees in the south, and a large United support! I really dont know why they print these made up attendances at Easter Road, making it look a pretty poorish attendance each week when its always more :grr:

They also reported a crowd of 7,000 for the St Mirren match when it was 13,000 plus.

There's been plenty of occasions in the past when the attendance given is well below the actual figure.

I don't pay any attention to the attendances now.

Just how many people are getting a lift over these days?
:grr:

I assume that's the reason for the discrepancy in numbers.

Decent turn out from United. first time I've seen the upper south opened for a league game for anyone other than OF, ****bos and sheep in recent years.

dont know if its of any relevance, however it was a hibs kids day. does anyone know if the kids that turn up are counted in the official figure. if not could this perhaps explain a few hundred at least?

We shouldn't be surprised with the better home turnouts this season if we keep putting on performances like last week and today. Long may it continue. Crowd still a bit quiet though.

In defence of the Beeb, that figure was also given on the official Hearts club website IIRC

Falkirk had fans in the Upper Tier last (?) season.

Anyway, if three were only 13,000 people at that game, then I am Spartacus.

I actually thought that there would be more Hibs fans in the away stand to be honest. My end of the east was not all that busy in the first half but filled up in the second.

i dont think all the corporate seats are counted and also the "freebie" tickets that families and friends and people connected with the game ie sfa delegates, get.
