What was good about that? It was a simple strike with a right foot into the onion sack!

Average goal!

Great strike, good to see he has been working on his weaker foot.

Think he's actually scored three for them so far, but all in the League Cup.

I'm sorry but he shouldn't be getting plaudits for that! He's getting paid obscene amounts of money and should be able to kick with both feet standing on his head...:greengrin

You know what I mean though!

I'm left footed, a crap player and would have easily stuck that home with my right too! It really annoys me when i hear "PROFESSIONALS" & "WRONG or BAD SIDE" used together in the same sentence!

infact, i'd probably go as far to say that my right foot is better than Fletchers!!!

Not too delighted about that, personally. The weakness was obvious at ER for yearsnyearsnyears. A month into a new club and it's clear he's been working on his right foot.

Why did this not happen during any of his long time at ER? As with the diabolical throw-ins situation, this leads me to think ... WTF do Hibs players do in training?

Petrie! :grr:

:agree: I was dizzy as well. In fact I had to rewind my Sky+ a couple of times to check that I wasn't seeing things. Even pinched myself as I could have just nodded off.

Shame he can't score against EPL teams.

Fletch is a quality footballer who has performed well in all they games he has played in and Coyle singled out both him and Paterson for praise in Saturdays win.

It won't be long before the goals start to go in for him in the league, it is one of the most difficult leagues to score in and he was always going to need a period of time to get up to pace. If he makes it to double figures in the league I would say it's a hugely successful first season for him.
