:tee hee:
Although I laughed when I was reading it, I wonder if Tesco will operate the same policy when it comes to the hijab or a Jewish skullcap.

Tesco said: "He hasn't been banned. Jedis are very welcome to shop in our stores although we would ask them to remove their hoods.
"Obi-Wan Kenobi, Yoda and Luke Skywalker all appeared hoodless without ever going over to the Dark Side and we are only aware of the Emperor as one who never removed his hood.
"If Jedi walk around our stores with their hoods on, they'll miss lots of special offers."

Why didn't he just use the old jedi mind trick? I'm assuming that tesco staff are weak minded enough for it to work (no offence tesco staff but the Force is very powerful). It's what I would've done
TescoStaff: You need to remove your hood.
JediTaf: :bye: I don't need to remove my hood.
TescoStaff: You don't need to remove your hood.
JediTaf: I'm not the hoodie you're looking for.
TescoStaff: You're not the hoodie we're looking for.
JediTaf: I can go about getting the messages.
TescoStaff: You can go about getting the messages.
JediTaf: Move along.
TescoStaff: Move along! Move along!

Rotwatcher: Is "twunt" a hybrid of two different swears? If so, I like it.
