He would be the first name in my team sheet every week. Leads by example and should be club captain.

Was absolutely rock solid today, cannot fault him at all.

How long is he signed for currently?

Can't say that i was totaly impressed with the partnership tbh, think that Hogg being dropped on current form was correct, although in my opinion we missed his orginasation at the back.

Was in the West Lower today, about halfway down from the dugout so it was a decent view of the incident.

It looked well over the line :agree:

Dems the breaks, I suppose :greengrin

It's hard not to love Ian Murray. He just gives the impression he would run through brick walls for the club. He gets asked to play all over the park and he always seems to give it his all. Put in some good tackles on the left flank today, covering to allow Hanlon to push up.

It's hard to tell from the TV mate - I didn't think it was over.

It certainly wasn't well over the line.

I hope he signs an extension for another 3 years, and finally gets to play one position, preferably centre half for the rest of his Hibs career.

I had a great view of it and I couldn't believe it wasn't given. Looked over the line from where I was, definitely.

I hope Ian signs a new deal soon - after the last 4 years or so, I'm sure he won't be THAT hard to deal with!!!

He broke my heart when he signed for Rangers, I'm only just starting to forgive him, he better not do it again! :boo hoo:

Although there were no slow motion replays, Alba's coverage seemed to confirm that the ball was over the line.

Tough *hit eh - it's nice to get a break for a change!

I never agreed with hogg as captain, Murray is the man for the job and going by yesterdays performance yogi knows the decision he now has to make.

The only downside to his game yesterday was his passing out of defence. Too many times I thought that he was getting rid too early. When there was space on front, the better option is to drive forwards and either draw the midfielders to you, or push them back on their heels. Good that he got a full game in the postion though as I thought he may get pushed out to left back in place of Hanlon who in the first half was getting done with the overlap and out of position too often.

This was only Murray's 3rd competitive game this season, so there is still plenty improvement to come. :agree:
