Nice one to DW for coming out as a dyed-in-the-wool St Johnstone fan. Shows he has a bit of character in supporting the local side rather being another tedious OF glory-hunter.

Should he not fulfill his potential and be forced to sign for the OF, his future agents will be cursing that he's burned him bridges for Daily Record copy with the nauseating "how I always wanted to play for..." piece.

Alas, like so many, that's something the unfortunate young chap will have to live with every day of his life.

Many thanks for pointing this out.

And is Stevenson not a Raith fan?

Had a good chat a while back with the steward at Gullane golf club who is a friend of the family who says he supported Raith as a laddie.

sure Lewy was captain against Raith in the pre-season a couple of seasons ago under Mixu for that reason :dunno:

Was thinking the same thing.

When players aren't Hibs fans, it's always nice to see that they aren't glory-hunters and maybe have some experience of following a less-successful club, so appreciate what it means to us when we do well for a change! :greengrin
