I thought I couldnt laugh any more after seeing Sky text list last nights attendance at *********** as 50,328..... But it just got better, you've just got to have a look at the official Yams website which unbelievably lists the attendance as the same, Delusions of grandeur are one thing but this is surely taking it too far, would hate to see the accounts add up if you really believe you had 50,000+ through the gate:faf::faf:

They've completely lost it over there, it's like a fourth dimension they are living in.

That just means they'll need to pay a higher tax bill, surely?

Oops.

What they have actually posted is their required break-even attendance.

Both figures are technically correct. 13,328 watching the game and the other 37,000 underneath the Wheatfield stand pedalling like buggery to keep their three floodlights working

During the game last night Sky sports news went to Andy Walker at the game for an update. In the background was the Gorgie Road end and it was half empty. Do you think they use the old "hide'n seek" 1,2,miss a few, 99, 100 method of counting?

Is it any wonder that the taxman is hounding them. What's the capacity for the PBS? and how long do they still have under the outdated safety certificate?

They have now modified the original report.

This morning it showed the attendance as

50 328

This afternoon it is shown as

50,328

Someone in a blazer and cardigan is a stickler for punctuation!

Maybe they did sell 50,328 tickets. Might just be Vlad doing the laundry

Maybe the figure includes them who watched it last night on Alba.

The Yams wouldn't lie would they. :bitchy:

Perhaps they felt the need to add an additional 40,000 on to the figure when Nade turned up.... he can really pack them away.

It says 50.328 - there's probably lots of contenders for the .328 but I reckon it'll be the guy that does the pre-match dance routine.

It says 50.238 - there's probably lots of contenders for the .238 but I reckon it'll be the guy that does the pre-match dance routine.

Blimey, that's the second time today they've changed the punctuation without changing the numbers. Perhaps there's a hobo working the site. :hmmm:

Maybe it's Nades waist size in feet. :agree:

Seriously how can they not be aware that the figure is wrong.

:faf: It's back to a comma. Reminds me of the time on the Apprentice when one of the teams phoned up the editors of the Times to ask if the apostrophe was before or after the S. IIRC they wasted about 4 hours on that task. :greengrin

Perhaps they've started counting the stand?
