where's the loony gone ?
mind you,he's a balanced individual,,,a chip on both shoulders !
STF saved us,has'nt ripped us off, does'nt pick the team, and isn't a complete dobber when it comes to the media.
What's your problem Luna ? (backed up with FACTS preferably ! )

exactly and you are right it has been done to death and yes we may be the best run club in Scotland but you are completely re-writing history to say the the most damning criticism was it was a potential win for both sides.
I've said it before but just to clarify I'll say it again.............
You sir are a complete and utter bore - every single one of your posts has me shaking my head in disbelief. I'm still not convinced where your loyalties lie either.
Thank **** for the PM board.
Tom O'Malley was headmaster of a big secondary school, I think, and was chairman the year we went down - replace Lex Gold, IIRC, and was a huge improvement, IMO.
I wrote to him about his 'great adventure' comment, and received a very full and extremely courteous letter in return, thanking me for my concern and reassuring me that he and the rest of the board and STF as well were fully committed to making sure that our stay in Div One would be as short and as painless as possible. It was a lovely letter and he came over as a very nice man.
If he was the one who persuaded STF to come in to save us, then he deserves a place in the Hibernian Valhalla along with the best of the best.
Tom O'Malley, a nicer man you couldn't meet, I believe he only took over the Chairmanship because he was pleaded to do so. I don't think Tom was either ready for it or wanted the job, but took it over over because of his love for Hibernian, probably a bit like Dougie Cromb.
In my 'auld age' I think I may have my time periods mixed up as I am not entirely sure when Tom was Hibs chairman. Whenever it was, I don't think he was a great chairman for us but if getting STF involved was his only achievement, he can be a proud Hibernian man until the day leaves this earth.
I have been no big lover of STF in his early years at Hibernian, however, in recent years, things have improved greatly and it is now difficult to criticise the man.
