Least we forget my fellow forum chums the quality within our squad; Ian Murray, Souleymane Bamba, Merouane Zemmama, David Wotherspoon, Liam Miller, Derek Riordan, Anthony Stokes, Abdessalam Benjelloun, to name just the ones I consider class, are permanently gifted players.

Form may not be temporary in our case as we have yet to see the squad gel, I mean, before the beginning of this season hardly any of them had met each other. Right?

The problem is, all our best player's best positions are in midfield and upfront. We desperately needed to sign a replacement for Jones, as well as one or two other defenders. Miller and Stokes will come good, but I think the money spent on the two Falkirk guys' wages would have been better spent on a defender or two.
