Disagree - we need a flair player - Zouma or Wotherspoon, or both as there is no creativity. A bit of movement from the strikers wouldnae go amiss either.

We've got one. He's been playing centre-half all season.

As long as he can win the ball he can give it 5 yards to someone that can do the creative stuff.

yeah of course, but the problem is he thinks he's a player, hence all the fancy spins when not needed. Remember last year v Hearst he won the ball with an outstanding slide tackle against Driver then produced one of the worst passes ever seen.

We need a midfielder who will take the ball and carry it into open spaces. Wotherspoon does that.

A midfielder at all would be a starting point.

My view is that there is not a more physical midfielder in Scotland than Ian Murray - shame he was playing at RB!

No good having a flair player without someone to give him a bit of 'protection' (ie kick the opposition midfielders to death to give said flair player a bit of time and space)

This obsession with height in the midfield is baffling, Spain;s midfield is full of small guys does not stop them playing the ball to each other. It quality we need not a giant

Because they've got pace and precision, we have neither.

Id say Bamba offers a better physical presence than Murray...

Id say Murray is much more likely to be able to go through an opponent legitimately...

I think that's a bit harsh. There is a lot of worse passers of the ball in the SPL.
Though if he played in midfield, then who would play Cb?

Why does he need to be 6ft plus?

Surely a short-arse with small man syndrome could do the job?

because we have a plethora of short-asses as usual and Yogi is trying to buy another one.

I'd like to see our opponents struggling to win headers against us in the middle of the park for a change.
