yea 5 min walk from the station. If coming from edinburgh there is no direct train so one to motherwell then on to hamilton is an option.

By looking at the National Rail website it looks as if they go every half an hour, ten past the hour and twenty to the hour.

It's Hamilton West that you're looking to go to, Hamilton Central is apparently nowhere near the stadium.

another alternative is to check out the "travel to games" message board here,
often hibs buses with atleast a couple of seats on offer on there.

just another option

I'm getting a train through tomorrow.. Leaves Waverley at 12.42, change at Motherwell at 13.30 to depart at 13.40 and arrives at Hamilton West at 13.50.

Cash gate in operation so there in plenty of time to get in.

Coming back it's 17.46 from HW to Motherwell, then back to Edinburgh for 18.50.

Having phoned Scotrail it's £8.70 return which is cheaper than I was expecting.

Buzzing for this match

there are a few council car parks not too far from the ground and they are free, don't be tempted by morrisons car park as i think you get charged in there.

:agree: I can't remember where exactly the car park is but it's less than a 10 minute walk to the stadium. It's quite a large car park too, if memory serves me correctly, so you shouldn't have too many problems in getting a space.

There's a warning up on the Hibs website about parking in the supermarket car park. Apparently you can be fined if you're not a customer so it's not worth the risk.
