Is this still true, I know it was when he scored in the cis cup final, have we ever lost a match in which he scored
Almost, he scored in a 2-2 draw against united in October 2007

Here are the scores from the games that he has scored in (Hibs score stated first);
v Hearts 2-1
v Motherwell 3-1
v Peterhead 4-0
v Gretna 6-0
v Dunfermline 4-0
v St Mirren 5-1
v Aberdeen 4-1
v Motherwell 2-0
v St Johnstone 3-1
v Gretna 3-1
v Falkirk 2-0
v Kilmarnock 5-1
v Dundee Utd 2-2
v St Mirren 2-1
That's 14 matches that Benji has scored in for Hibs and we have not lost in any of them (only NOT winning one).
That's a pretty impressive stat. :agree:

Might be more impressive if these stats included the OF... :agree:
Need him firing on all cylinders whether he scores or not.
For balance how many games when he hasn't scored have we lost?

Cross-referencing to another thread - is Benji the Hibs Kris Boyd?

Hmmm lets think
Both can be deadly in front of goal and both are able to spit the dummy so you may have a point :greengrin

The exact thought crossed my mind as I wrote...
However Boyd has got the Gers and Smith out of jail and does seem to favour the big games - but I'd probably opt for Novo as a player myself. Benji has come up with the goods in some big games but is he a player who gets us out of jail?

To be fair Andy Hibs usually win when they are playing really well - certainly more often than not
