BTW - a wee bit less of the "those Italians", hm? Wasn't it Craig Gordon, the SCOTTISH keeper, who was quoted last week as saying that it would be OK for Scotland to cheat as long as we got to the WC Finals?

And wasn't it SCOTLAND in 1978 who went to Argentina as a result of a very dodgy penalty award at Anfield against Wales? Everybody but the referee knew it was Joe Jordan who handled the ball, not the Welsh defender.

Agree 100%. The first time the champions don't qualify to defend their title that rule will be changed to prevent it happening again.
