TBH, I always like the guy. The 'Sing When Your Winning' Album was good. Good to see him back.

He also liked to sign Steven Fletcher from Hibs for his Championship Manager team. :greengrin

I always detested this man when he was in his prime. He was the opposite of everything I looked up to in a rock and rolll star. Unnassertive, namby-pamby and unsure of his sexuality.

I listend to a radio interview and he hasn't changed at all. He still seems mixed up and unsure of what his opinions are on any subject. All he seemed to say was that he's a mixed up being who doesn't know what he is thinking from one day to the next.
You listen to people like Noel Gallagher and he just says it as he sees it. That's what you want from musicians. Even people like gary barlow give you straight answers and are sure of themselves.

I thought his last album was unfairly canned and consigned to the bin but I didn't think it was as bad as it was made out to be. However, the press didn't like it so that's it.

I really hope the man comes back with some good songs. There have been worse artists to grace the charts.

Why should musicians be expected to have opinions on everything?

There was an article in the papers yesterday saying he liked Fletcher. Was in relation to the Scotland game and RW said he transferred him into his CM team. Reading I think it was.

From yesterdays Sun

Steven Fletcher is fantastic - if he's playing you'll get through. I always bought him on Football Manager when he was at Hibs. Has he moved to Burnley? In my world he's moved to Reading and he does really, really well. I don't play as my team Port Vale. I choose a Championship team with a lot of money to spend then bring them up and Steven Fletcher is always one of my signings. If Scotland play Steven Fletcher they'll win.

His first album was magic. His second was good. His last one was utter garbage. His new single isn't much better.

Getting rid of the guy who used to write with him (Guy Chambers?) was his biggest mistake.
