Sorry if this has been mentioned elsewhere. I've just saw the highlights and it looked like mistaken identity i.e. he meant to book Brown.

Can this be changed?

Hope not Brown had already been booked.

Think he had a go at the linesman for standing in the way. :agree:

Nothing to do with mistaken identity Faddy lifted his hands to push a macedonia player the linesman saw it and entered the field reported to the ref stupid booking only himself to blame. pity but true

"I was surprised it was James who was booked. I don't know if it was mistaken identity," said Burley.

"We'll speak to the relevant people to see if there is an appeal procedure. That's something we'll have to question."

McFadden told BBC Scotland: "I'm absolutely gutted. The referee said it was for lack of fair play.

"Because we never gave them the ball back, he booked me for it but I only went to take the corner."

Perhaps you were misled by the TV coverage....like Green Machine, my perseption was that the booking was in the mellee that led to the corner, though it wasn't shown until after the whole incident had passed and the linesman took to the field at the time.
