Does anyone find it interesting that people in power resign because they are supposedly against something others are doing when they are in the best position to do something about it. Idiots.
There's either a hidden agenda or they are going to have direct involvement in what others want to do.

Is he not reflecting the growing public concern about our involvement in Afghanistan? John Reid said there would not be a shot fired, when British troops entered Helmand Province.

The most expensive MP in Scotland grows a conscience? There must be a difficult election coming up.

Don't misquote the man, his words were that "he hoped that the British would leave Afghanistan without firing a single shot" not that we would

Although no fan of Joyce, he does seem to have noble reasons for his resignation after all.

Could Gordon Brown's Labour be any morally bankrupt?

Agree, the malaise started with Blair, Mandelson and Campbell though.

Crystal clear to me.
That guy's completely beyond reproach. An officer and a gentleman.
Why are we so worried about our political representatives? :faf:
