Seemingly we bid for him last week and Yogi and Brian Rice watched him again on Saturday possibly in preparation of a new bid.

That would be excellent... means I could get a strip with my name on the back of it and get away with being a 30 something with a named strip!

I like the look of this player. He had a good game at Pittodire when they sent the sheep out of the cup last year. I am sure that they would take DVZ as part of a player swap.

There's a rumour that he’s signed but I wouldn’t dare post it in case I’m wrong! :duck:

Ahh see what Jack has done is post a rumour regarding a rumour.

That way he has not actually posted said rumour and can deny all comebacks saying his rumour was mince:greengrin

Yes - and I seem to recall that Jack also suffered from a recent bout of rumourtoid arthritis!

In my opinion Woods would be a pointless signing-he's no better than those we have and probably slower than all of them-this year's DVZ.

Just a scenario - with little transfer fee likely to be involved, what if Pars simply free him. We could sign him + put a couple of lads on loan. wouldnt everyone benefit apart from the tax man?

They would have had to have freed him by 5pm or he wouldn't be able to sign and play for Hibs until January.

We do know they rejected a (cash) offer for him last week. Hibs don't have many players to spare for a loan now either.
