Looks like things are hotting up ahead of tomorrow's deadline, particularly down south.

Michael Turner has moved to Sunderland, Nico Kranjcar is in talks with Spurs and Daniel Cousin looks like he's off to Burnley.

Looks like it could be a busy 20 hours or so.

Close to agreeing now.

They must hate Rednapp in Portsmouth. Wonder if David James will jump ship as well.

According to BBC the fee could be up to £12M for a player signed in 2006 for £350K. Not exactly a household name is he, getting back to crazy money down in England by the sound of it.

Is it? He's hardly a weekly feature for Spurs just now, and he'll probably be getting a better salary at Man City. With Spurs adding Krancjaer (sp?), he's less likely to feature with any frequency!

Sky Sports are making it sound like Rangers have signed Kaka. Says it all when the top story in Scotland today is a loan deal to the Huns for a guy (never heard of him) who up until earlier on was on his way to Germany.

C'mon Petrie up that bid. :grr:

Doncaster Rovers have today netted young midfielder Jack Wilson on a short-term deal.

A product of the Hibs youth system, Wilson has recently parted company with the SPL side and spent the past week training with Doncaster Rovers at Cantley Park, where he has been able to link up with former Hibernian team-mate, Dean Shiels. 17.55 (?) Mark Brown on loan from Celtic to Killie for the rest of the season.

17.55??? there's maybe hope for something to happen yet, although Have International Players been allowed any leeway on deals as they are effectively outwith the usual situations? Just that I noticed Arfield is away with the U21 squad, therefore was unlikely anything might have been able to be completed today. Makes sense with yesterdays twin bids.
