On the Royal Mail website, Scottish page (http://www.royalmail.com/portal/rm/content1;jsessionid=U4MK1RB2RNYV0FB2IGFUPLQUHRAYUQ 2K?catId=99700760&mediaId=102200778) there's a lot of blah about how deliveries are affected in those parts of Scotland that observe the Bank Hoilday, and unaffected in those parts that don't.
The page appears to include the following two lots of information about Edinburgh:
(1) no deliveries today in EH1-EH3, EH11-12 or EH15-EH17, but deliveries in EH4-EH10 and EH13-EH14
(2) no deliveries today in EH4-EH10 or EH13-EH14, but deliveries in EH1-EH3, EH11-EH12 and EH15-EH17
As there are a few posties on Hibs net, would like to know
(a) Which of the above, (1) or (2), is correct, and
(b) Do some postal districts of Edinburgh really observe the August Bank holiday in a way that other postal districts don't?
