Still 0-0 although St. Johnstone have missed two good early chances and are by far the better team.

A draw is a good result for the Yams in what I'd describe as an early season 6 pointer.

Thats going to be the huge difference this year with Hearts. Last season their cause was helped by boring, workmanlike, ground out 1-0's and draws. This year they have lost their three most influential players at the back (Neilson, Berra, Karipidis) and are going to ship goals. The "togetherness" has disintegrated and their confidence (arrogance) will be shot. Last year they would have held on for a fortunate win.........if we don't hump that Hearts team off the park this year I will be very very disappointed :agree: Just a shame that the derby is so long away

It's a big team thing - teams like Man United and Arsenal often do badly the weekend after a European game, so it's just as well they're out of Europe - won't be any distractions and they can focus on splitting the OF now. Us poor Docksiders don't really get it etc :blah::faf::faf:

Possibly though my Dad and brother were at McDiarmid Park and apparently he wasn't indulging in his usual shenanigans on the touchline. Pretty sour-faced all day.

His post-match comments apparently included something about the passion of Spanish women which is possibly even weirder than usual. Trying to avoid chatting about more serious matters maybe.

I was disappointed that Susan wasn't sliding in one step behind with the silver tray, ready to catch Nade's crumbs (could those entities be conceived of existing outside of the spiritual world) and felt heart-sick for those who had "waited" for that spectacle.

This pisses me off. It's clutching at straws at best to brand him a racist for stating that Spanish women are fiery.

I know that the dictionary states that generalising a person based on their nationality is racist but it's a joke. I raised this point elsewhere, if you say that all Jamaican's are happy go lucky then you're a racist.

There needs to be a clearer line between stereotypes and racism. People being branded racist because they've called Spanish women fiery or Jamaican's happy is a joke.

You're comment was probably toungue in cheek so fair play but if not, you need to get out more.

Apparently so.

I don't know if they need to fill one end up before the second can be opened of if visiting fans can choose.

Obviously the first option would not apply to Hearts with their massive 400,000 fan base.

Only the OF will get both ends, unless someone else asks. The ends take about 1500 and there is space for at least 1000 away fans in the north end of the main stand, so an away support would need to take >2500 to justify opening up the other end.

To be fair, I have almost spat on someone accidently, if i've been standing and i've done it just at the exact point someone has coming running from behind me or something!

However, i've seen this on the TV and there's no way you'd do that accidently! So he's talking pash!

I have spat on someone accidentally, at that moment you wish the earth would swallow you up,luckily it was not after a harsh tackle or bustup but nonetheless,a bit of a bu99er,and luckily the guy saw it for what it was an innocent gobbin.

You don't. You either spit, and someone you didn't see comes withing range, or you spit AT someone deliberately.

I have been told that it's not unknown for a waiter to spit in a customer's food if he doesn't like the customer.
