He's made a real twat of himself for quite a while now. First thing to say when appointed Aberdeen manager 'I'm gutted I didn't get the Celtic job' should have had the offer from the Dons revoked immediately at that point

A truly fascinating character. When he came to Motherwell, he made a lot of friends with his style of football and articulate manner.

Now he seems to have garnished the contempt and scorn from his own, opposition and neutral fans to a level almost unprecedented from a non-OF figure.

Good work, Mr McGhee.

Would he have been a good Hearts manager?

He got a lot of backing from the Motherwell board to bring players in during his first season, a little less from the Dons board and probably would have got £0 from the Hearts board, unless he was given that £10M war chest that some yams went on about, where is that war chest? Has it been set aside until Haley's Comet comes visiting us again?
