Can we win tomorrow?

i'm feeling strangely optimisitc about tomorrow, we have a good and improving team and a manager who the players respect and the fans like. we have home advantage and an in- form bunch of strikers. Can we get a result against the timms?

i predict 2- 1 Hibs with a goal each for Stokes and Derek :thumbsup:

I think we have attacking options that have the ability to hurt Celtic's defence but on the flipside, I also think that Celtic have attacking options that have the ability to hurt our defence.

I think it should be a very open game with quite a few goals. Hopefully we just manage to get one more goal than them.

I don't see that there's any reason why we can't win tomorrow.

celtic have some good strikers and very dangerous wingers, if we can neutralise them for the first half and play with a solid 4- 4- 2 then we can get that extra goal... any help from a certain goalie with a dodgy track record against Hibs would also be welcome :-)

We've a decent chance tomorrow. Both sides' defences are their weak links, IMHO. We have strikers more than capable of scoring, as do Celtc. I think it'll be a close game which hopefully we'll win.

Sure I think we can win, we are playing well and scoring goals,but, I also think we can lose. If we can stop them scoring an early goal or scoring first the the longer the game goes on the better chance I feel we have. But I am going for the draw 1-1

We can win, as we have shown so many times we can outplay them and beat them. For us to win though the defence, especially the wing backs have to be on top of their games and Ant and Deek must take their chances.

Got a bad feeling for some reason, and I have a similiar feeling for a 4-2 defeat, however when I usually feel this we win:greengrin. However, the completely weak and spineless scottish refs will feel they have to grant Celtc penalties left right and centre for any slight contact because of what happened in London so I suspect at least 1 dodgy penalty against us.

Got to agree that getting on the back of Legoman and Boruc will help us, they don't take it well and throw the toys out the pram.

Looking forward to this one with a mixture of excitement and dread.

Though it wont decide the league or 2nd 3rd 4th etc, If we can win it and deserve to win it we can look forward to the rest of the season with a good deal of optomism.

I for one honestly havnt got a clue as to how it will go, but boy, if we can win it it will be a real bonus and confidence will be sky high at ER.

A few of our lads at the back and midfield are going to have to have their best games for a while though.

I think it's a mental thing with the players now as well. Used to be that Rantic would turn up at Easter Road expecting a win. I think now there's doubt about the result.

Celtc will know today that there's probably as good a chance of them leaving with nothing as there is of them leaving with 3 points. When they have that doubt, and when we're up for the game then the thought of defeat for them can become a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Realistically I'll settle for a draw. Celtic have managed 38 shots in 2 games, on target with 23 (us 31 shots, 17 on target). They're winning lots of corners as well, so we'll need to be on our toes at set pieces.

On the plus side we've got Ant & Deeks up against O.G. Caldwell, so I'm sure we can score at least one. Head says 1-1, heart says 2-1.
