Anyone know when it will be apparent whether the derby at Tynecastle on 7the November will be moved for TV purposes? How far in advance do ESPN determine their fixtures?

Not too sure about this but im pretty sure it will be 1245ko going on previous derbys. The police will not be happy with a 3pm ko and tend to ask for early starts to prevent boozing and minimize the chance of disorder. It also may be moved to sunday with and early kick off. I think its just a case of watch this space mate. :greengrin

:agree:

One thing for sure is that it ain't gonna be 3pm on the Saturday unfortunately.

I reckon it will be 12.30 on the Saturday on ESPN as the only other game that time is Cardiff v Swansea on SS1....

Guess we'll just have to wait and see...

If its on ESPN it would be lunch time or tea time Sat or Mon evening as that is the slots they have.
It could be on Sky on the Sun if they take the game

I think the slots that can be used (between both Sky and ESPN) are…

Friday 8
Saturday 1245
Saturday 530
Sunday 1230
Sunday 130
Sunday 2
Sunday 4 (definite for the EPL)
Monday 8

I’d prefer the Friday night but as we know the police will say no, so either of the Saturday slots or the Monday night for me. I the Sunday football.

The police dont like midweek games with a 745 ko because of the drinking that goes on before hand. Sat lunch or sun lunch ko is my guess

And that their overtime rate is lower than at the weekend.

I'm frankly completely sick of the polis dictating kick off times. Was there more bother than usual at the midweek late kick off last season (1-0 at the slum) or at the League Cup game a couple of seasons ago? Not that I remember. And not that was reported.

The game will be changed for the tele in all likeliehood.

Thats the worst possible news for me, I fly into Edinburgh on that Saturday at 2pm. :grr: I booked tickets months ago before the fixtures were announced to see the Arctic Monkeys in Paris on the Friday night.
