Looks like Man City will prise Lescott away from Everton ....with a reputed £24 million to spend (or a chunk of it) and only 1 central defender fit...who are Everton going to come looking for.....
I have a suspicion that Bamba might be on the shopping list

Done deal, I hear.
Bamba's good, but not Prem quality IMHO.
Bamba's nowhere near good enough for the prem

Can't understand where all this nonsense is coming from about Bamba going to Arsenal, Liverpool or Everton, there is no chance, he is nowhere near the quality these teams would be looking to sign.
If he ever did move south it would likely be either to a struggling EPL side or the Championship.

Big Sol wasn't nicknamed "Bombscare Bamba" at Dunfermline for no reason!
I dont think Sol is a centre half! He seems to do a better job at defensive mid!!
My point being, i dont think a top 10 prem team would sign him for centre half.

.
I read somewhere(prehaps the sun newspaper, take that as you wish) that bamba stated that HIS agent told him a few clubs were after him and LIVERPOOL were one of the 3 clubs, the other 2 i think were french clubs

Shame what Everton are going through at the moment after last season's sterling efforts.
I can't think Bamba would be high on their list. Riordan would be of more use to them as four of their strikers - Saha, Jo, Yakubu and Anichebe - are anything but fleet of foot and sure of eye.
Once they get rid of Lescott, I hope the skies will clear.
