If they continue on their current streak, then I can't see past the Dodgers in the Major League.
I'd say your picks are sound, other than the Packers.

dodgers it is then :cool2:
i picked the packers after the other thread and i was watching their highlights, they were talking about a guy favre? moving to another club and whether they should boo him on his return, i thought that sounded too much like hibs fans and took it as a sign :greengrin

7 games behind the mighty Yankees and fighting it out with the Rangers for a play off place though.:greengrin

The Major League movies? Willie Mays Hayes and Rick "Wild Thing" Vaughn? The spring training scenes in the sequel were filmed at the minor league baseball stadium that I used to go to as a kid.

Just a suggestion, you probably want to define what you mean as "best". Do you mean best regular season record or goes the furthest in the playoffs? There can be some ambiguity that you probably want to clear up with your friends so that one guy doesn't try to steal the pot at the end.

we have a points system for league finishes and how far in the play offs etc, its still kind of being worked out because the season works out so diffrent over there, im sure there will be a couple of arguments. :greengrin
