Hearts have been hit with £50,000 fine over their disciplinary record with a further £10,000 suspended until January.

I think Hearts can already kiss goodbye to the £10,000 following their 'performance' against Dundee United. They still have Zaliukas still to come back (from suspension).

It just shows how the SFA are run by peg selling Hobos who are jealous of Hearts dominant position.

Isn't it quite ironic that part of their fine is suspended until January , like most of their captains

Will the SFA have to threaten them with court action before they see any off it?

Are payments from the SFA not due now and in January? :dunno:

I think they are and these amounts will just be withheld.

They can join the queue after HMRC.

They're lucky it is so low.

Their continual dragging of Scottish football into the gutter through the shameful and mindless thuggery of their so-called footballers is a national disgrace.

No doubt they'll blame someone else rather than take responsibility for themselves.

Typical, typical yams :bitchy:

How many of their 11 - yes, E L E V E N - red cards last season were given to their model "captaincy team" of Stewart and Zaliukas. I'm going for approx. half. Clearly, one of them is going to have to up their game this season to finish a clear winner in the red card stakes and therefore cement his claim to be outright HoMFC captain.

Yet another reason why Mikey Stewarts actions at Tannadice were the act of a genius :agree::agree:

he got himself sent off to gee the team up a bit, classic :faf:

"I thought we were a wee bit flat and I was trying to put in a tackle or two to get the team going, and unfortunately the ref saw fit to give me two yellow cards," he said.

Mikey must have been reading too many reports claiming a that team often plays better with ten men than eleven.

Don't Hahaheartsnil hold the record for sendings-off in a single match - something like four or five at Ipox, I think? Sure it would have been more that day too but if one more had gone the ref would have had to abandon the game.

HOMFC: Bringing Scottish football into disrepute since 1874 or some arbitrarily chosen date thereabouts. :agree:

It appears that the City Council are prepared to block the £51 million new stand at Tynecastle becasue they haven't been paid the for old Nursery School site!

This is my favourite part

Derek Watson, chairman of the Hearts Supporters' Trust, said: "There is still a reasonable amount of confidence that it will go ahead, but the timescale is still a bit up in the air because of the overall world financial situation, rather than something to do with Hearts.

Nothing to do with Hearts obviously.

Is this why they've not coughed up for the land for their new stand?

Good old Derek. You can always rely on him to make sure we all know it's all ok and Vlad really will deliver on all his promises.

I love the News. The way they are playing it so deadpan, as if this incident has anything to do with preventing the fantasy stand from being built. Somebody is extracting the urine bigtime.

When the Yams were trying to explain away the £30m+ debt, there were plenty of them saying that the figure would include the £6m paid to the council for this piece of land.

Wrong again chaps :greengrin

What a piece of nonsense. The Council and the Yams agreed a price for the land in question (which was deemed light in certain quarters), the money being due when planning consent is granted. At that time HoMoFC splattered their website and any interested media with full plans and visuals of the proposed development. They then waited a full year before submitting the planning application and have since dragged their heels, even stating that they are revising their scheme to reduce the scale of the development. It's predominantly HoMoFC's fault that the planning process has taken so long and yes, land prices have dropped in the interim. They will however rise again and regardless what the land is worth at any particular instant a deal was in place with the Council.

Would HoMoFC have accepted an increase in the agreed purchase price had land values continue to rise? I think not.

Tossers!

Now let me get this right. A deal was done to buy the land. Then the purchaser does not come up with the cash and land falls in value. So purchaser, having already defaulted, wants to renegotiate the price.
Had the land doubled in value in that space of time would the seller have been in a position to renegotiate? I think not.
More smoke and mirrors but mostly I think that someone at the Evening News has a huge sense of humour and likes popping pebbles in the water every so often to wind up the hahahearts fans.

HoMoFC haven't defaulted (yet) as payment only becomes due when planning consent is granted. To date, this hasn't happened.

Looks like Hearts have to agree to cough up first:

It is understood an agreement will have to be reached before the club get planning consent

Looks like Hearts have to agree to cough up first:

They've already agreed, only now they're trying to change the agreement to suit themselves.

It gives Vlad an ideal scapegoat for the scheme not going ahead..

Really think the council should put up a for sale sign on the land and get the best possible price, Hearts will not need this land.

Well done Hearts. You are taking one for the team with these fines. Keep it up, we love you.
