Not sure if you can find it on Youtube but he did a cracking interview for Soccer Saturday just after he had that terrible knee injury. He was river fishing.

He was very philosophical and funny. I think he's a good guy. I wanted the Hammers to sign him before he went to Fulham.

The best video is the Duncan Ferguson one.

I'm not 100% sure, but, I'm sure he was released from West Ham as a youngster.

Yup - and the Posh picked him up on a free transfer! He was absolute pish until the second half of a League Cup game against Coventry City on the evening of 9/11. There are many theories as to what happend during the half-time break in that game, but after a stunning performance the boy banged in PUFC's eventual top three goals of that season in the following five matches and hasn't looked back since. He was punted to Wigan (then in the same division) a year or so later for a Petrie-esque £275,000. I think we may have got a similar amount again as a sell-on when he went to Fulham.

Still a hero down at London Road.
