To reprise the post from LHWM...
Before Saturday the record showed...
Last Away win at Tynecastle in 2007 and Last home win in 1997.
So reason for some cheer as an alternative to bashing Nish, Benji, questions around suitability of Hanlon and McCann in what was the opening game - we won.
In Yogi I trust until evidence shows otherwise. He'll be the one to address the items above should they become real issues.

Looking on the bright side? It'll never catch on.

You might be right.
Makes you wonder the comments that would greet a Scottish Cup win...But that'll never happen anyway :greengrin

An opening win was brilliant but papered over the cracks, possibly the Yogi factor will get us a few results when we are up against it.

I'm sure there would be more than a few gripes once the hangovers subsided.

Surprised we won Saturday when you look at the team we put out according to Hibs net.
Maka - pish, a joke
McCann - unfit, never an attacking full-back
Hanlon - never an attacking fullback, at fault with goal.
Hogg - pish, not SPL standard
Bamba - bombscare at centre-half, midfield only
McBride - Rubbish, as falkirk fans said so
Cregg - another falkirk reject
Rankin - pish, shouldn't be on the park
Wotherspoon - too young to get criticsied (for now)
Deeks - disinterested, never in the game
Nish - garbage beyond belief
Subs
Benji - never see him again, doesn't want to play etc etc
Galbraith - see Wotherspoon
That St Mirren must be a really terrible side.

Last home Win 2007. Remember where we finished that year!

Pedant: Away win :tsk tsk:
I get yer point. However for me I've become accustomed to anticipating the new season filled with optimism (despite the reality checks of previous seasons) only to be dashed in the first game with a cack performance. Whilst not outstanding I'll basque (heehee) in the afterglow of an opening game victory (however short-lived it may be :cool2:)
