Just ran 100m in 9.58 seconds. Crazy stuff, and he's only 22!

Me anaw. Timed myself and came in a lot quicker.

That was in the shoes I wear for work. Reckon I'd be faster in proper trainers :agree:

In all seriousness last night was stunning. He thinks he can run faster, which when you think about it isnt that far fetched. he seemed to look round at the rest of the field, looked at the clock and it seemed to me he could go even faster if he was flat out for the whole 100 m

He's on a different planet. I didn't understand why they were building it up into the "Bolt vs Gay" duel (even the 2nd names give you a clue as to who's going to win :greengrin). That was always Bolt's race to lose, which he never looked like doing.

Does anyone just think he's toying with everyone to remain the superstar and and stay in the limelight?

Can you imagine if he comes out and runs a 9.50 and then never gets near it again then there wouldn't be all this focus on him, advertising deals, tv appearances etc for as a prolonged period as there is now.

The last couple of times he's broke it he's slowed up short. He can go much faster. :agree:

Just watched him smash his 200m record as well - he was so far in front of the rest of the field it was almost like he had a headstart on them.

Only one word can describe this guy - phenomenal.
