This is the last thing I would want to happen, but if it keeps raining could the game be postponed due to water logged pitch?
I would think pitch at ER is pretty robust, but still its rained pretty much non stop the last 24-48 hours.....:bitchy:

Very little chance of a postponement as this is summer time and postponements just don't happen when fitba' is played in the summer months:wink:
In any case it's due to fair up shortly and I'm sure the sun will shine on all of us today

I really hope so! Been looking forward to this for weeks! Nothing beats competitive footy - friendlies just dont cut it!

My thoughts exactly.
Rain over the east is to clear around mid-day and you can only hope this does the trick.

Even if it dries up the pitch will still need a good forking from the ground staff. Roll on Summer football!
P.S. On a related note (slightly) does anyone know if the Council parks are on, specifically the Gyle, as my Sunday morning league starts tomorrow?

It's ok bud.
Our meticulous pre-season planning was to prepare for days such as these and so we went to play a match at Starks park where water wings would have been better than football boots:wink:
