BBC on a Monday night is the only confirmed highlights package so far. :boo hoo:

Although give ESPN some time and they may come up with a FULL SPL type programme of their own??

I'll miss the preview programme Setanta used to do with Scott Booth and the other guy. Was always quite entertaining.

:agree:

Setanta was not as bad as many people thought. Their package was much more appealing than what is currently on offer from ESPN.

From another thread.

"BBC on a Monday night at 1105. I'm hoping Goals on Sunday on Sky Sports will show the highlights as well. No idea about ESPN."

I wonder if the BBC will have highlights online at 6pm on a Sunday as they have in previous seasons.

We'll find out at 6pm I guess :greengrin

They were on last night. Just after the EPL and Championship but before League 1 and 2. Just the goals though.

Goals on Sunday will probably do a round up as well - that's on at 11am. There were some cracking goals (McCulloch, McGeady's 2nd, Aluko and Forbes from motherwell) yesterday so hopefully some time spent on the SPL.

They could do with brushing up on their facts.

According to them it was Hamilton v St Mirren, and Motherwell played St Johnstone at Easter Road.

Not sure if this has been posted already but I just saw the highlights from the spl games on Sky sports news where the presenter said that David Wotherspoon equalised for Hamilton against St Mirren and that motherwell played new boys St Johnstone at Easter Road!:grr:

Shocking. :grr:

TV presenters should never make simple mistakes.

I feel an open letter coming on.

I find it hard to believe that across 4 sky sports channels and 1 ESPN channel they cannot dedictate 60-90 minutes for scottish football.

I was wondering if anyone knows if Hibs Interactive show any of the home game highlights?, and if they do, how long after the game ends?.

you'll get limited highlights on sky sports news every couple of hours, although they did call hibs Hamilton earlier and claimed that St Johnstone played at Easter Road... get clued up!!

There is an SPL highlights programme in the SS1 schedule for 6:30pm tonight, looks like its only on for half an hour but better than nothing.

I switched it on just in time to see the obligitory 30secs for each team outside the old firm. Oh well.

The coverage by sky so far has been very disappointing.

In contrast, the programme for Arabs v Hertz has just started on ESPN, it is only 10 mins in but already seems to be of much better quality with a lot more pre match build up than sky had for the Celtc game.
