Can anyone tell me how far the city of manchester stadium is from the city centre?

Its just over 2 miles, so would probably take 45 mins walking and 10/15 in a car/bus.

When I was down in that part of the world last week for the football, I went into Manchester on one of the days and after visiting the Trafford Centre, I went past Old Trafford and then the City of Manchester Stadium.

I would say it's about 20 minutes from the city centre.

As hwuhibby says, it is in a much nicer area than Old Trafford, probably because it would have all been regenerated for the Commonwealth Games in 2002.
