Mowbray's also been quoted as saying that he won't be signing Boozy. He's just doing him a favour in providing training facilities.

So Boozy's been in Scotland and still hasn't found a club. Surely Hibs would have done the obvious at the very least and considered signing him? Waste of a wage? Fitness? Hughes not a fan?

Nevertheless, I think he could still very well end up at Parkhead. He wouldn't cost them a fee and I think he would accept a wage which Celtic would be happy with. He'd be a good squad player for them. If he is still training with them it suggests that he isn't having any success finding a new club (except Everton :greengrin) and surely he must be getting a bit uneasy about his future. Would he be desperate enough to accept a peanut deal at ER?

Personally, I always thought that guy Fred Soozie Whatsisname - French bloke, well past it, signed by that big red-haired chap who turned into a Hun - was terribly over-rated.

Lazy a sin, wouldn't run with the ball if he could pass it to someone else....

In my eyes the number 4 shirt always did (and always will) belong to David Beaumont.

Cracking chap - now a stalwart of the Fifeshire Constabulary, as I understand.

No one else in his class in my memory.
