Whilst not many folk in that area of the England would turn down Gerrard's music request, there should be no time for him to be billy big time afterwards. Which i can definately believe would have happened.

As for the actual contact......in the CCTV you see his mate elbowing the victim, and Gerrard being manhandled away. Which suggests that something has occured. His mood afterwards has also visibly changed to one of someone who is seething, how you would behave after a scrap, possibly wanting another go.

I reckon he will be found guilty, however not fully, as the CCTV does not show the area where it would have happened clearly enough.

His mates have all pled guilty, tells you something.........

I thought that it was fairly visible that Gerrard threw a volley of punches.
