"A zillion police cars, several ambulances and the biggest yellow helicopter you could imagine" have all descended (in at least one case, literally) on the Meadows, according to my missus.

Anyone know what's happening there?

Emergency for the sick kids? Used to happen fairly regularly when the old ERI was still up and running as well.

Used to stay in Buccleuch, was quite regular. At night about 20 police cars would line one of the fields with their lights on.
