It's not religion that perverts people, it's people that pervert religion. People use all sorts of pretexts to justify their brutal tendencies, e.g., communism, alcohol, even football :wink:

Anyway, at least in Sudan they know who should be wearing the trousers. Difficult for a kilted, under-the-thumb nation like ours to understand. :wink:

Did I miss something, or is this a story about extreme Muslims going after Christians and trying to impose what they see as Muslim 'principles' on Christian women?

Like the man said, PEOPLE.

It's people who hurt people, and people who distort and debase religious belief.

These are Islamists persecuting those who dare to disagree with them.

Just like the KKK killed, burned and flogged those who had different skin-colour or different principles from them. On occasion, they still do.

But they don't do it because of any commandment from Jesus.
