Kendricks a tough cookie though, will have done Murray no harm in playing such a tough opponent early doors. I am sure he took Nadal to 5 sets in the opening round a couple of years back.

With all the pressure on him (suddenly most folk EXPECT him to win Wimbledon) he'll be glad to have got his first match out the way. I think he will improve if and when he comes up against a higher seeded player.

For now he's achieved what he set out to do and got through to the next round. :thumbsup:
