American Express are only giving 1.09 Euro's to the pound but the post office are giving 1.13, that's the best I've been able to find so far, I'd be interested in hearing if anyone knows anywhere better cause I'm getting mine tomorrow.

Anyone been and seen the price Marks and Spencer are giving? I've got a better deal there in the past than the PO.

They're giving 1.12, that's where I usually go for mine but the post office seem to be the best at the moment.

the cheque centre in leith would be one of the best i would say, its always a better rate than Marks and Spencer and no commission also. There are cheque centres in a few places though.

Its 1.14 just now.

The bureau de change outside the Waverley Market has the best I've seen in Edinburgh.

If you order online then you can get up to 1.163

If you have the time then a travel card like the Fair FX card is brilliant-just like a credit/debit card preloaded with euros and £1.50 per withdrawal-and around 1.16 exchange rate

Or get a current account from Nationwide as they do free withdrawls in EU and you get the banking rate also.

No 1 Currency (http://www.no1currency.com/bureau-de-change/) are the best from my experience. They have several outlets in the Edinburgh area including Waverley Bridge and the Cheque Centre in Leith.

No mate, if you go in from Waverley Bridge it's a wee office to the right of the entrance at the front door.

Or get an account at nationwide, free withdrawals in most countries in Europe and usually the best rates are direct from the ATM!

Will tell you where the best deal is. Getting it sent by post is generally much better than high street rates
