I need some help.

I want to reroute my main telephone line through the front of the house, BT want to charge a fortune for a job that will probably take 30 mins.

I cannot find a telephone engineer that does home jobs, they all seem to be commercial.

Does anybody know of anybodu or business that can / would do this?

Thanks

You could easily do it yourself mate.
All you need (from B&Q) is a small junction box for 12 wires and some Telephone cable (telco) and some cable clips.

Where the main feed comes in your house you can fit a junction box and either drop the cable down through you floor boards or back out through the same hole.
The just run the cable to where you want it and refit the master socket.
It would be easier just to take feeds from the current master though but granted i dont know what you are trying to do:greengrin

You will need a long 10mill drill bit if your coming back through your outer wall and a crone tool for clipping in the telephone wires.

If you are going to try it , gives a shout as i have the drill bit and crone tool although you do get a p1shy crone tool if you buy a junction box.

Might cost you £20 max without the drill bit.
Its all very straight forward but if you need any help with where wires go , gies a shout.
