3rd match up today at Rome - early evening I would imagine, except the weather forecast looks bad apparently.
This guy/gal posts a thread every day there is a tournament on with details of the days play and also interesting comments.

rain has put the Murray match back to tomorrow.
Djokovic won this a year ago so is defending 1000pts. Murray is defending just 70 (I think thats right. less than 100 definitely)
A decent run in this competition could see murray end the week 3rd in the world, but Monaco that he is playing tomorow now is a tricky opponent and is a clay specialist

If Djokovic doesn't win this tournament then Murray will definitely be 3rd in the world next month due to the fact Djokovic will lose the 1000 points he has from winning it last year. Should Murray go further than Djokovic this week he will be 3rd in the world on Monday!

Not quite!
He'll be number three, after he moves above Novak Djokovic next week.
Maybe one day, though!

lol, that was rather keen of me wasn't it!! oops.
Anyway, another good win today which puts him in the quarter finals against Wawrinka (18th) or Del Potro (5th).
If he can win that, he's likely to play Roddick or Federer in the semi's, then Nadal/Djokovic (Nadal obviously more likely).
If he can get further than Fed this week, he'll take huge strides to catching him to number 2!!!! :top marks

Somebody on the BBC 606 forums has calculated that if Murray wins this tournament he will move above Federer to world number 2. Seems that although Murray won this tournament last year, because it has moved to earlier in the year he does not defend the points he won for it last year. The points being defended are from Hamburg last season, Murray lost in the 3rd round in that tournament to Nadal while Federer got to the final.
Murray has to beat Federer to get to the final.
All of the above said....I can't see him getting to the final or winning it.:duck:

he's playing well this week, but there still seems to be "something" missing for him on the clay. See how he gets on against del potro tonight. a big test against the world number 5, but he has a 3-0 record against him including 1 of those wins on clay.
