Stirred into action after reading the Obama thread I thought I'd ask if anyone heard John Mackay's comment on the 6pm Scottish News last night (31/03/09)? Some might consider it inappropriate whereas I thought it more inaccurate.
Reporting LIVE from Livingston Railway station, Gordon Chree was revealing all regarding the new rail links when a yob jumped in front of the camera and started gibbering pash. Chree pushed him away and concluded his report with the yob dancing around and shouting in the background.
Cut back to the studio where John Mackay says "Gordon Chree there with some of the local wildlife" I thought that funny but inaccurate as he should have said pondlife rather than wildlife :greengrin
Given the stir over Obama's special olympics comment can I apologise now to any pondlife that might be reading this

Was it Livingston North or Livingston South? It would make a difference. I bet it was North. South is in Old Murieston or thereabouts. South of the railway line is quite snobbish. North of the line there think they are but are just playing at being snobs.
Livingston North is another matter all together. Nothing snobby about anything up there. :greengrin
