I've had it with this mad organisation, with their customer services in asia, their engineers in england (but somehow separate when it suits), their sales in who knows, and their willingness to spend money not on improving the service but on getting folk to cold-call touting for business.

Suffice to say, it's no longer good to talk with BT.

So, before I hurl the ****ing phone out the window, can anyone recommend another company out there who provides line rental as well as all the other gubbins?

Thank you and have a nice day. :)

I finally had enough of the bassas when they charged me £180 for installing a small cable they said would cost £30, admitting they made a mistake but they still took almost 6 months to actually refund me, in the meantime i probably spent a total of 10 hours on hold at various times speaking to various clueless blokes from Bombay:grr: I really really hate BT:boo hoo:

I went to virgin media last month; got my phoneline, TV choice thingy and broadband for less than BT charged for just the phone and broadband. Plus their customer service seems OK and they throw in a v nice samsung mobile phone deal as well.

Sky. Their line rental is £10 a month and you can get unlimited evening, weekend and international calls for an extra £5 a month.

Plus, their centers are based in either Livingston or Dunfermline.

I think the likes of BT got it spot on with their Indian operations. It's cash from chaos, because no-one can complain.
