Found out tonight that my Mrs forgot to change her name on her passport. We fly to Amsterdam on Thursday

Went online to change it - £90:grr:

So for doing the square route of fv ck all = £90:confused:

Be cheaper getting a new passport.

Bloody scandalous really charging that eh when it's probably a 30 second job to change the name on the computer,it's not like they give you tickets or anything, rip off. :agree:

he admits his mistake but the point he is making is why do you have to pay so much when Easyjet are merely changing the name on their computer, other airlines do it for free so it can't be anything to do with airport rules.

It is in there T&C's, fees, plus the new price of the seat, if it is higher you pay the difference and the fee. if it lower you just pay the fee.

And other airlines may do it for free, but all low cost airlines have fees, for everything, that's why your better to go over the T&C's.

i'm sure you would have gotten away with just taking your marrige certificate and not had to pay anything.
then again maybe not cause you have been married for a while now

This happened to me a few years ago, me and my mrs bought tickets to Oslo on ryanair, she managed to mis spell her name somehow and they wanted £50 to change it, luckily the flights only cost £10 return so we just bought another ticket.
